was recently recognized by the Restoration
Industry Association (RIA), as a Water Loss
Specialist® (WLS),
a select group of individuals holding the water
loss industry’s foremost certification. The
induction ceremony was held in March during RIA’s
63rd Annual Convention & Exhibition in Grapevine,
Texas.
Pettyjohn's Oriental Rug and Carpet Cleaning has
served Wake Forest and the surrounding areas
since 1989. Combining our cutting-edge training and
our more than 18 years of client-pleasing
experience, there isn't much we haven't seen and
successfully dealt with.
The Water Loss Specialist designation is the
preeminent recognition offered by RIA to water loss
professionals. In order to qualify for this
credential, individuals completed extensive
educational requirements to meet professional
competency standards and demonstrated the highest
quality of services available.
The newly minted WLS Certificants were required to
prepare a Formal Report on an approved research
topic, pass a rigorous exam which demonstrated
their knowledge in this area, and to formalize
their commitment to the RIA and Restoration Council
Code of Ethics.

worldwide. RIA provides industry leadership,
supports science, and promotes best practices for
cleaning and restoration.
